ITAS Podcast Season 3, Ep.5
In this episode, I’m chatting with a wonderful artist from Canada Allison Dawrant. I’m personally very excited about this conversation because I feel like I’ve known Allison for at least a few years. I’ve been following her work for a while and I’ve even stolen some of her work for my art classes and she was totally cool with it (that’s how awesome she is!)
Allison embodies that unstoppable, kind, happy creative energy that draws people to seek and share her work. She’s intuitively inventive with her art and more importantly – she feels and spreads the joy of it!

About Allison Dawrant
Allison Dawrant is a Canadian artist, teacher, advocate, and activist, she believes that art builds connections and evokes change. Art is like solving a puzzle, but in an intentional and intuitive way knowing exactly what pieces are left before calling it “complete”.
For Allison, painting has become a way of living, a full-time business, and a ‘creator therapy’. The feeling of “giving back” through her art and passion, inspires her greatly. She supports many human and animal charities and that drives her to create with purpose.
If I can add a little joy, color, and feeling to the world – that inspires me.
